Neighborhood Safety Reminder:
As we enjoy the season, please watch your speed. Most neighborhood streets in Lexington are posted at 25 mph. With warmer weather, please be mindful of children playing, balls in the road, pedestrians, and pets/wildlife so we can keep Harrods Hill safe for everyone.
Enjoy your week,
Cindy Sterne

Hi Neighbor,
Thank you for joining the Harrods Hill Neighborhood Association for the 2026 year—we truly appreciate your support in helping keep our community connected and thriving. If you have not yet paid your dues, please mail or deliver your check to HHNA, 2005 Parasol Dr, Lexington KY 40513 as soon as possible.
As a member benefit, you will have access to our up-to-date, live neighborhood directory. You can access it using the password below:
We encourage you to use the directory as a way to connect with your neighbors and build relationships within the community. One of the best parts of Harrods Hill is the people, and a simple introduction can go a long way.
If you enjoy being part of HHNA, we’d love your help spreading the word. When you meet new neighbors or connect with others around the neighborhood, please encourage them to join. Annual membership is just $40, and it provides access to neighborhood communications, events, and the opportunity to stay informed and involved.
Additionally, don’t forget about our neighborhood pool and recreation opportunities! Membership options for this season are:
- Returning Families: $475
- New Families: $500
- Single or Senior Membership: $265

Hi everyone,
We’re excited to officially share that the Harrods Hill Neighborhood Association has launched a new website!
This new, modern site is designed to make staying connected easier than ever and serve as your central hub for everything happening in our neighborhood.
What you’ll find on the new site:
• A fresh, easy-to-navigate design that works great on phones and computers
• A quick, simple online membership registration form
• A News & Updates section to keep you informed
• A community calendar with upcoming events and important dates
• A live member directory available anytime
We’ve also moved away from our previous platform to a more flexible and secure system, helping ensure a better experience for everyone.
Membership & Dues:
You can now complete your HHNA membership application online. At this time, dues should be paid by mailing a check made out to HHNA to:
Cindy Sterne
2005 Parasol Dr
Lexington, KY 40513
We are actively working on adding more modern online payment options and will share updates as soon as those are available.
Good to know:
The new website has been generously gifted to HHNA for the first two years at no cost to the neighborhood. After that, the annual cost will be approximately $110 which will be paid for using dues collected.
Why this matters:
This upgrade brings Harrods Hill in line with modern standards — making it faster, easier to use, and more accessible for how we all stay informed today.
If you haven’t already, please take a few minutes to visit the site, sign up for your membership, and explore everything it has to offer.
We also encourage you to spread the word! Let your neighbors know about the new website and invite them to join HHNA. The more members we have, the stronger and more connected our community will be.
Thank you for helping make Harrods Hill such a great place to live. We hope you enjoy the new website and find it useful throughout the year.
As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns.
Warm regards,
Cindy Sterne

This morning at about 6:30 AM the new Harrods Hill Neighborhood Association website went live. It is secure as you can see in the address bar with the lock in front of it. We encourage you to navigate around and get used to it. Also, there is a section for HHNA Members which includes an online registration form. We ask you to please fill this out as we build our 2026 Directory and to follow the link on directions to pay the annual fees. We are discussing online payment ways for the fees but are not quite there yet. Please enjoy our new website.

Hello Neighbors,
You may have noticed that membership applications have not magically appeared in your mailbox yet this year. Don’t worry — the mail carrier didn’t forget you! We’ve been busy behind the scenes working to move our membership process fully online.
Soon you’ll be able to:
• Join the Harrods Hill Neighborhood Association (HHNA)
• Pay your dues online
• Access a live, up-to-date neighborhood directory of HHNA members
All of the same information will still be available — it will just be right at your fingertips anytime you need it. No more digging through drawers for that booklet you know you saved somewhere!
Now for a couple of volunteer opportunities within the neighborhood:
Secretary Needed
We are currently looking for someone who would be interested in serving as the HHNA Secretary. If you enjoy helping keep things organized and staying involved with the neighborhood, this could be a great fit. Please let me know if you’re interested or would like to learn more.
Treasurer Needed
We are also unfortunately in need of a Treasurer. Our longtime treasurer, Phil Greasley, who served the neighborhood for many years, passed away last year. We are incredibly grateful for everything he did for our community. If you feel this might be something you’d like to help with, please reach out — we’d love to talk with you about the role.
And now for some fun neighborhood events coming up!
🐣 Annual Easter Egg Hunt
March 28 at 2:00 PM
Bring the kids and their baskets for an afternoon of egg hunting and fun. Rumor has it there may even be a special guest hopping by to say hello!
🏡 Spring Neighborhood Garage Sale
May 16 from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Start cleaning out those closets, garages, and basements now. One person’s clutter is another person’s treasure!
We’ll send more details soon about the new online membership system. Thank you for being part of such a wonderful neighborhood — we’re looking forward to another great year together.
See you around the neighborhood!
Best,
Cindy Sterne
